Horror anthology dates all the way back to the 1950s when comic books like Tales from the Crypt were the bane of society.  It’s remains a popular format in film and a great way to get the most scare for your buck. Here’s a list of horror anthology films, both old and new, that are must-sees for any horror fan:

11. Trilogy of Terror (1975)

Believe it or not, this was a made-for-TV movie and it really did the trick. For it’s day, it was quite a shocker.  It holds up really well and is highly recommended for any true horror fan.

10.Three… Extremes (2004)

Three… Extremes is an East Asian International horror movie that three directors from three countries directed three different segments. The movie contains three parts that are about 45 minutes each. Three… Extremes‘ original title is Saam gaang yi, and it is a sequel to Three (2002).

9. ABCs of Death 2 (2014)

ABCs of Death 2 (2014) is a film that is comprised of many short films that are directed by many directors resulting in a horror anthology. I was not thrilled about seeing ABCs of Death 2 after I was disappointed withABCs of Death (2012). I am happy I put my feelings aside and saw the movie, it was way better than the first and I recommend horror fans to go see it. There were only two directors that were disappointing in this film and I will let you see for yourself without telling you which ones. The tone of this movie was much darker and creepier than the first film. The consistency of this movie flowed awesomely well compared to the first horror anthology movie.
